Gautam Rode & Pankhuri Awasthy tied the knot in a royal ceremony that took place at the Tijara Fort Palace in Alwar, Rajasthan. But we can’t get enough of their colorful Mehendi ceremony but we shared some Mehendi pictures earlier this morning that made their way to Instagram, thanks to the friends and family present at the do.

In a world full of pastels, Pankhuri Awasthy rocked KALKI’s Fuchsia pink hand-carved lehenga on her Mehendi and we’re loving our desi girl’s bridechilla vibes! She looked fabulous in the all-pink pre-wedding #OOTD accessorised with a statement neck piece, studs and a big smile.
The intricately designed Anarkali is constructed using sequin and zari embroidery all over with butti motifs that matched her dazzling personality effortlessly. The Anarkali gown is featured in raw silk fabric and is set together with matching net dupatta that compliments the outfit at its best. The outfit is beautifully carved and we are totally crushing over her blushes!

One thing we loved most about the wedding celebrations was Pankhuri’s mehendi. It was minimal, floral and yet so perfect! All the brides who believe that less is more, this one’s for you ladies!

Pankhuri Awasthy, who we all saw in Razia Sultan, shared the news with her fans and told a leading newspaper just how delighted she was.“We have taken the first step. The families have wholeheartedly welcomed our union. In Gautam, I have found the answer to all my dreams. I’m eagerly looking forward to the most important phase of my life,” she was quoted as saying.
