Step-1- Complete Turn Or Round Of The Saree
The inner edge of the saree must be tucked inside the petticoat and one complete round must be made by double knotting the saree at the right waist. One must ensure that the saree’s end shouldn’t touch the ground. Santali saree style doesn’t touch the floor.
Step-2- Making Pleats
Make about six to seven pleats at the front with the remaining fabric after the first wrap of the saree.
