I, Khushali Kejriwal love the colour white, so much so that although I wanted a traditional wedding which usually requires brides to wear shades of red or pink, my dream was to wear an elegant white wedding dress as worn during a Christian wedding. My enchanting bridal lehenga in pure white colour, which is a symbol of purity, peace, and elegance was a true masterpiece. The intricate embroidery of pearls, cut dana, and sequins on the net blouse, net dupatta, and net lehenga gave the bridal ensemble a very classy and sophisticated look. I chose to keep an all-white look by wearing a diamond necklace, rings and chandelier earrings which gave a scintillating effect. The dark maroon lipstick added a pop of colour to the overall look and took everyone by storm. My better half too decided to embrace a white embroidered suit set by the theme. He looked so handsome that I was smitten by his charming persona and I could sense that he felt the same way too.
Making Memories for a Lifetime
Keeping in sync with the white theme, all our pics on the wedding day were shot in an open garden with greenery, white flowers and statues of white swans as the backdrop to avoid an overdose of colours. We created a wonderful collection of memories by shooting some amazing poses holding each other’s hands, gazing into each other’s eyes, and also me twirling around holding my beloved’s hand. There is also a picture of me standing with my eyes closed soaking in all the good vibes and the positive aura of the magical day. These memories will be cherished forever and ever.
Hooked to KALKI for life
Adorning my dream white bridal dress on my D-day, getting compliments from kith and kin, and feeling on top of the world was definitely a surreal feeling, but the process of procuring my white wedding dress, including the trials at KALKI, was also an incredible experience.
