The Roller Coaster Relationship
Agnesh and I were together for eight years before we finally tied the knot and experienced a surreal wedding. Agnesh proposed to me over the phone, confessing his fear of facing my dad. What began as a friendship blossomed into a deeply rooted relationship, growing stronger with each passing day, until we both knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Our journey resembled a Bollywood movie, filled with tumultuous yet exhilarating moments, highs and lows, twists, and turns. But through it all, we remained steadfast, refusing to falter, and here we stand today, happily married.
The Gorgeous Indian Bridal Lehenga
My mesmerising red bridal lehenga was one of the finest purchases I have made in my lifetime. The heavily embroidered red lehenga, adorned with intricate designs, paired with a fully embroidered blouse and two captivating dupattas—one in red and the other in white—was so stunning that it won many compliments. The moti along with aari and zardosi work on the lehenga gave it a dazzling effect and made me feel on top of the world. I chose a heavy necklace set along with a rani haar for a striking impression. I always wanted to look like a fairy tale bride and hence wore a matha patti, a nose ring, and a maang tikka along with the customary chooda and bangles. The embroidered belt worn around the waist added an extra edge to the bridal outfit. The glossy make-up with glittery eyes elevated the look and made me look glamorous. Agnesh too looked dapper in an enticing colour-coordinated sherwani set. The red and gold heavily embroidered sherwani accessorised with white juttis and a multi-layered red necklace made him look very princely.
The Blissful Moments
Our wedding was a dream come true for which I am truly grateful to the Almighty. Every moment was filled with opulence and grandeur along with heartfelt emotions. Starting with our royal entry in the pandal in a classy vintage car decorated with multicoloured flowers, to walking down the pandal hand in hand with gratitude in our hearts and smiles on our faces, to twirling and posing at the magnificent venue, each moment screamed of love and positivity. The majestic décor with flowers statement-making chandeliers and bursting of firecrackers filled the day with euphoric vibes. Thinking about the most precious day gives me butterflies in my stomach till date.
