It Started Next Door
We were just neighbours once.
Same building. Familiar faces. Casual hellos exchanged in passing—never rushed, never lingering. At the time, it felt ordinary. Two lives moving parallel, unaware that something extraordinary was quietly unfolding just a few steps away.

From Familiar Faces to Friendship
Friendship came softly. Conversations grew easier, laughter more frequent. There was comfort in the familiarity, a sense of ease that didn’t need effort. What started as simple companionship slowly became something we both leaned into, without naming it.
When the World Slowed Down
And then the world paused.
When COVID slowed everything down, it somehow brought us closer. Days turned quieter, but our conversations grew louder—long chats that spilled into nights, thoughts shared freely, silences that felt safe. Without realising it, we had found our calm in each other. A steady presence when everything else felt uncertain.

Four Years of Choosing Love
Four years followed—years of growing, learning, and choosing one another again and again. Love wasn’t dramatic or loud. It was steady. It was real. It showed up in the smallest moments and stayed through the biggest changes. What we built together was rooted in trust, understanding, and the quiet confidence that this was something meant to last.

A Celebration That Felt Like Us
And today, that love reflects not just in us—but in every detail that surrounds us.
The wedding was right here in Surat — home, heart, and everything familiar. Choosing to get married here felt instinctive. It didn’t need to be far away to feel special. Surat held our memories, our people, our everyday moments. Celebrating our love here made everything feel grounded, personal, and deeply ours.

Florals, Light & Quiet Magic
The décor echoed that same feeling.
Soft florals framed the spaces, woven into the setting like quiet witnesses to our journey. Greens, pastels, and gentle blooms brought a calm elegance to every corner. Natural light, open spaces, and understated details created a setting that felt peaceful and intentional. Nothing felt excessive. Everything simply belonged—just like our story.

Finding The Lehenga
When it came to my bridal look, the journey took a little longer.
After visiting multiple stores and designers, I was still searching for the one. I saw beautiful outfits, but nothing truly felt like me. Some felt too loud, others too traditional, too expected. I knew I didn’t want to lose myself in the outfit—I wanted something that reflected who I am.
And then I came across this design at KALKI—and instantly, it felt right.

The Lehenga That Held the Moment
Subtle. Soft. Pink.
I didn’t want the classic red. I wanted something that matched my soul and my vibe. Soft yet royal. Minimal in its work, but with a presence that didn’t need to shout. A flush pink that felt calm, confident, and unmistakably me—a colour that truly screamed Riva.
The lehenga felt effortless the moment I wore it. The craftsmanship was delicate, the detailing intentional, and the silhouette timeless. It allowed me to feel comfortable, confident, and completely myself—not dressed up as someone else, but simply becoming a bride in my own way.

Details Written in Mehendi
The mehendi on my hands told its own story—delicate patterns drawn with patience, symbolising beginnings, promises, and everything that led us here. Each design felt like a quiet celebration of tradition, love, and the journey that shaped us.

His Timeless Presence
Beside me, Jainam looked timeless.
Whether in a sharply tailored black ensemble or in his ivory sherwani detailed with intricate embroidery and a classic turban, he carried an effortless charm. There was tradition in his look, but also quiet confidence—grounded, reassuring, and constant. Watching him felt like seeing strength wrapped in calm.
A Team That Understood the Vision
KALKI had exactly what I was looking for, and Anvaya and her team made the entire experience even more special. From understanding my vision to bringing it to life, every step was handled with warmth and care. It never felt rushed or transactional—it felt personal.
They didn’t just help me find an outfit.
They helped me feel seen.

A Moment Meant Just for Us
One of the most beautiful moments unfolded gently—reading letters, exchanging smiles, surrounded by nature and soft décor. Nothing extravagant, yet everything meaningful. The florals, the baskets, the sunlight filtering through—it all felt intentional, like the universe quietly affirming our journey.
Where Love Feels Like Home
And Jainam… for me, he is my heart and my home.
With him, everything feels right. Life feels lighter. Love feels easy. Like it was always meant to be this way—steady, warm, and deeply reassuring. Being with him feels like exhaling, like arriving, like knowing you are exactly where you belong.

Our Story, Always
Sometimes, you don’t just find an outfit—it finds you.
Sometimes, you don’t need to go far to find something special—it’s already home.
From a simple meet-cute to a love that feels like home, this has always been our story. One built on friendship, nurtured through time, and celebrated in the place and moments that felt most true to us.
Sometimes, love doesn’t arrive loudly.
Sometimes, it lives next door—waiting patiently to become everything.
