Well, that’s exactly my story where not only I, Nikita Kapoor, was mesmerized by KALKI’s stupendous collection of mehndi outfits, modern sangeet dresses for bride, traditional Indian bridal wear, and reception indo western lehengas etc, but also other members of my family found stunning outfits for the wedding ceremonies.
Surpassing All Expectations
This magical experience with KALKI has left us completely in awe not only with the majestic outfits they provide but also with the exceptional customer service given to us at the store. I have consistently admired KALKI’s splendid and dazzling ensembles, harbouring a desire to purchase something similar, especially since we don’t find anything close to that in my hometown, Pune. I did go on a hunting spree for my bridal clothes at many designers, but nothing matched the grandeur and elegance of KALKI’s bridal dresses. I must applaud Rohit, the in-house stylist, who went out of his way to help me make a final decision and purchase my Indian bridal lehenga. His assistance was instrumental in completing the significant task of selecting an out-of-this-world wedding dress.

Our wedding was a grand affair which left us with priceless memories to be treasured for a lifetime. The luxurious décor with huge chandeliers and flowers was a sight to behold. We did not have any theme for our wedding and we also decided not to follow trends like twinning or colour schemes. We didn’t want to suppress anyone of our choices and wanted to adorn outfits that were a reflection of our personality. For us comfort and confidence in our bridal ensembles surpassed all other factors. And surprisingly we complemented each other perfectly in the individual choices that we made.
Gorgeousness Personified
My bridal lehenga was a bright red heavily embroidered lehenga choli paired with two gorgeous dupattas one in gold which was pleated and draped on one shoulder and the other in red which covered the head partially. The embroidery, featuring sequins, cut-dana, stones, moti, etc., in floral and geometric patterns, gave the lehenga a scintillating effect. I opted for ethnic temple jewellery that complemented my red and gold lehenga, including a choker, a long necklace set, a maang tikka, a nose ring, hathphool, temple kadas , and the customary chooda. I also opted for a kamarbandh which is a part of Solah Shringar and also accentuated my bridal attire. My makeup artist did a fantastic job with subtle makeup and a low bun. The hair accessories and the gajra added a whimsical charm to the overall look. One of the best decisions I made was to wear a pair of red sneakers with my Indian bridal lehenga which helped me sprint down the mandap with comfort and ease.
My better half looked resplendent in a blue and gold heavily embroidered achkan set paired with an embroidered dupatta. The gold turban, adorned with a kalgi and a sehra, made him look very attractive. He chose to complete his look with golden juttis, a mala, and a kirpan as part of a religious custom.
Aaj Main Upar, Aasma Neeche
I felt on top of the world and was all smiles on my wedding day, all thanks to KALKI for their stupendous wedding outfit which was mind-blowing. I couldn’t stop posing in front of the camera be it alone or with my better half. We have a huge collection of pictures clicked in different poses. From my bridal entry with a beautiful chadar of roses and strands of white flowers over me to posing looking into each other’s eyes in admiration, a picture of the sacred sindoor ceremony, a picture of us joining our hands in prayers, and me showing off my uber chic red sneakers, all the special moments have been captured well. It was a day filled with euphoric vibes and blissful moments.
KALKI Becomes A Family Affair
It wasn’t just me who was smitten by KALKI’s charm; my mother and brother were also head over heels for the magnificent clothing available there. My mother, too, bought her marriage reception saree from KALKI, which was again an epitome of sophistication and class. My brother believed, ‘Why should women have all the fun?’ so he, too, bought 4-5 outfits from KALKI, which he wore for various events at the wedding. After being cent percent satisfied with our looks on a special day and receiving numerous compliments, we were all glad to have landed at KALKI.
My experience with KALKI has been so satisfying that it felt like family rather than just any other wedding lehenga designer store. And my journey with them doesn’t end here; I wish to buy more alluring outfits from them in the near future.
