An Unforgettable Proposal
Drumil and I had planned a trip with our friends to Miami. To my surprise, there was much more to the fun excursion other than sun, sand, and chilling out with friends. Dhrumil had grander aspirations, which included proposing to me beneath the waves, amidst the vibrant coral reefs. This extraordinary proposal felt like a scene lifted directly from a movie, leaving my heart utterly captivated. Dhrumil left no stone unturned to set up the entire plan with the ring, photographers, and a perfect backdrop of the vibrant coral reef for our special moment while scuba diving. However, things didn’t turn out as planned. Despite his prior underwater experiences, Dhrumil felt some discomfort under the water that day. Even though he tried his best to execute the plan, he was unable to do so. Although the proposal didn’t work out as planned, Drumil’s love and care for me and his efforts to pamper me took my heart away and made that day one of the most memorable days of my life.
When Childhood Dreams Come True
Since my childhood, I had aspired to wear a red bridal dress and thus began the hunt for that special bridal outfit. I was so emotional and particular about my wedding dress, it felt as though I was searching for my soulmate. I ran from pillar to post hunting for my dream red bridal lehenga but to my dismay, none of them sparked the fire I had been longing for. And one fine day after a long hunt, I finally spotted a gorgeous red lehenga choli at KALKI and instantly I felt as though my prayers had been answered and that this masterpiece was exactly what I was looking for. The traditional Indian wedding dress from KALKI which is my most prized possession was a spectacular piece. I opted for a red raw silk bridal lehenga with aari and zardosi work. The intricate embroidery on the lehenga, blouse, and net dupatta gave the ensemble a dazzling effect just the way I wanted it to. The tassels of the dori added an extra charm to the look. I opted for subtle makeup and a bun adorned with flowers to achieve a classy look. The bridal jewellery which consisted of a maang tikka, a necklace set, a long necklace, hathphool, a stack of bangles, and chooda gave maharani vibes and made me feel super elated. Drumil looked no less than a prince in a white sherwani along with a turban and matching juttis. The multi-layered necklace and the kalgi elevated his look manifold. Thanks to the Almighty and to KALKI, everything fell into place beautifully.

The staff at KALKI did an exceptional job by customising my haldi dress most impeccably. The traditional lehenga choli in an amalgamation of vibrant hues of orange, green, and pink looked surreal. I chose to wear a maang tikka, a choker set, and bangles for an ethnic look. The print and the mirror embroidery were the highlight of the haldi dress and made it look resplendent.
Dazzling In White
I also opted for an uber-fashionable white pleated skirt and blouse ensemble with a shrug from KALKI for one of the pre-wedding rituals, which undoubtedly stole the show. The floral jewellery that comprised of a tiara, hath phools, earrings, and a waist belt was an epitome of elegance and added an oomph to the look.
Priceless Moments: Wouldn’t Trade The World
My wedding was a high-octane and emotional event with numerous blissful moments. From the pre-wedding rituals where we showered each other with flowers and our family, in turn, showering them on us, to posing in our magnificent avatars amidst the lush green backdrop of our wedding venue every moment was filled with bliss. Walking hand in hand making an entry and playfully exchanging garlands where Dhrumil bent down for me to put the garland with ease added to the magic. It was fun posing and getting clicked in all our bridal dresses. We had a phenomenal experience and created unforgettable memories.
