No prizes for guessing which Bollywood celebrity is being stalked the most on Instagram currently and which event has the internet buzzing. Yes, it is none other than Parineeti Chopra, the lady with a million-dollar smile, and her wedding with Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha which took place at Leela palace in Udaipur on September 24th amidst gaana, bajaana, and euphoric vibes. Let’s have a sneak peek into this dreamy fairy tale wedding which was overflowing with love.

The Pretty Pastel Lehenga

Dressed in a delicate and classy ivory-colored bridal lehenga choli from renowned designer Manish Malhotra, Parineeti looked nothing less than a magical fairy. The wedding ensemble had intricate artwork in geometrical shapes and hand-crafted with fine nakshi embroidery with gold thread and metal sequins. Parineeti added a unique touch to the way she carried her dupattas. She wore one dupatta around her neck as usual, while the other was draped as a veil with ‘RAGHAV’ embroidered on the back, symbolizing that her better half would always be by her side, like a shadow through all the ups and downs in life. This just proves how our dazzling Pari is smitten by her handsome soulmate and now husband Raghav.

The Love For Minimalism

Parineeti’s less is more mantra and love for pastels could be seen in her choice of clothes, make-up, and décor. In all these facets, the bride decided to keep it simple and sober, away from the over-dramatic effect. The soft make-up with a light brown eye shadow, a neutral blush, nude lipstick, nude manicure, and tresses flowing down casually reflect her love for simplicity and elegance. The stunning delicate mehendi design which is again an out-of-the-box decision has gone down very well amongst the modern-day brides and is now going to be a hot trend. The surreal wedding décor with the white and green colour theme and exquisite usage of pearls was a sight to behold leaving everyone spellbound.

The Bewitching Jewels

Parineeti may have rocked her bridal avatar in a subtle and serene contemporary wedding lehenga, but the jewels adorned by her were screaming magnificence, royalty, and opulence. The multi-tier necklace with the huge size uncut diamonds, and emeralds looks spectacular and is very eye-catching. It added an extra oomph to the enchanting wedding ensemble making the bride look extra gorgeous. The oversized Russian emerald maang tikka is very statement-making and acts as a catalyst for the overall look. The hathphool and kadas added a mystic charm to Parineeti’s wedding attire.

The Personalised Touch

Parineeti comes across as a very family-oriented and loving person. This side of her personality is reflected in her decision to add a few personalised touches to her wedding lehenga choli and accessories. On Parineeti’s request, her designer Manish Malhotra added her grandmother’s challa (keychain) to her bridal lehenga to pay a heartfelt tribute to her Nani on the auspicious day. Isn’t that an off-beat idea loaded with love and emotions? Having her soulmate’s name embroidered on the veil in Devanagari script is also a very sweet gesture that will always be treasured beyond words.

The romantic Parineeti also added specially customised kaleeras designed by Mrinalini Chandra to her beautiful bubble-gum pink choodas. The motifs that represented details of her love story were cuteness personified. It had charms like a London phone booth, musical instruments, and religious charms like Ek Onkar, Waheguruji, Om, etc. which hold a special place in the couple’s hearts. One act of Parineeti that has left everyone impressed is her singing a self-composed song as a surprise for her dashing husband. All these cute little acts of Parineeti have touched everyone’s heart and are an inspiration for all the would-be brides.

The pictures on Instagram are proof of how the Ragneeti wedding was a perfect blend of serenity, love, and emotions. Parineeti’s look was an epitome of gracefulness and subtleness while Raghav looked dapper in a subtle and classy Sherwani. We wish the lovey-dovey couple a blissful life ahead which is filled with romance and all things magical.
