Deepak and my love story is a typical example of ‘Ram milaye jodi’. Despite hailing from different parts of Mumbai, we crossed paths at a company. As fate would have it, ‘kaam kaaj’ along with ‘gup shup’ became our daily ritual, which eventually blossomed into something more profound. Our love for coffee acted as a catalyst, bringing us closer to each other. On the memorable day of November 16th, 2020, Deepak proposed to me in a filmy style. We had gone to Alibaug for an adventure trip, and that’s when Deepak decided to take our relationship to new heights, quite literally. During paragliding, he popped ‘the question’ to which I readily agreed. That is how our beautiful dosti turned into a prem kahaani and a lifetime relationship of love and commitment.

Every girl aspires to look like the sultry Shilpa Shetty or the graceful Deepika Padukone on her special day by embracing a bridal lehenga that is ravishing and exquisite. My wedding lehenga exuded magical vibes, making me feel surreal and leaving everyone in awe. The raw silk bridal lehenga was intricately embroidered with floral and geometric motifs using cut dana, moti, beads, and more. The heavily embellished velvet blouse, paired with the velvet dupatta featuring embroidery on the border, enhanced the overall look of the wedding dress manifold. The exquisite bridal jewellery comprised of a large necklace, heavy chandelier earrings, a statement-making maang tikka, hathphool, and the customary chooda.
‘Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahi’: Deepak
The Dulha raja looked dashing in a white embroidered sherwani paired with a matching turban. The kalgi and the green and gold-coloured multi-layered necklace added an oomph to his wedding outfit.
The Intimate Affair And The Fun Filled Moments
We selected a beach destination for our intimate wedding ceremony, which radiated with ecstatic vibes. The stunning mandap, lavishly adorned with white flowers meticulously arranged alongside stacked pots, created a breathtaking sight. Our wedding was brimming with joyous moments, as family members were in a playful mood, indulging in light-hearted pranks. One of the most enjoyable moments occurred when some of my family members donned masks to mimic the “Money Heist” team during the joota chupai ceremony. According to tradition, the sisters of the bride, playfully demand money from the groom affectionately referred to as ‘jijaji’ in exchange for his stolen shoes. The shutterbugs have captured some great pictures of us and our families during the ongoing wedding shenanigans that will be cherished forever.
