Shruti, who lives in the US, was on a video call with her sister, who was in the Mumbai KALKI store during those wedding shopping days. Shruti had no time to fly to India to choose her wedding lehenga, and she only wanted a proper Indian bridal lehenga because, you know, “Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani”.
