Indian weddings are full of vibrant fun-filled celebrations with lots of rituals, lip-smacking food, music, gorgeous outfits, and lots of hungama. All these make it the most memorable and cherished time of one’s life. By god’s grace, Chirag and I too were blessed to witness a fairytale wedding which was fulfilling in all aspects. Let me share with you a few highlights of my wedding which was nothing less than a dream come true.
Rightly Said – Opposites Attract!!!
Chirag and I are a live example of opposites attract but one thing that’s common between us is our family values and our future goals and that is the reason we were in a rock-solid relationship for 11 years including 4 years of long-distance relationship. And yes, I proved that ‘I would do anything for love’ as I flew down from ‘saat samundar paar’ from Canada in December 2022 to marry the love of my life.
Fulfillment Of An Earnest Wish
I was very clear about wanting a bright-coloured wedding lehenga that would stand out against the serene and calm beach backdrop. And KALKI fulfilled my sincere wish which made me feel on top of the world. The gorgeous light red lehenga with floral embroidery all over and the intricate embroidery on the designer blouse along with a maang tikka, choker set, and a long necklace made me feel like a princess. Two net dupattas, one in red and the other in a contrasting hue added more charm to the bridal lehenga and also made me win lots of compliments. In other words, I couldn’t have asked for anything better than this.
The Dreamy Destination Beach Wedding
I fall short of words when I have to describe my dreamy Goa wedding which was purely blissful. It seemed as though God had stepped down from heaven and come to earth to bless us, as the skies turned pink during the sindoor daan ceremony. It was the most precious moment of my life which still gives me butterflies in my stomach.
I was so overjoyed that I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear throughout the wedding ceremony. Right from walking down the aisle when I was showered with flower petals, flaunting my engagement ring in front of my sisters and friends, looking into Chirag’s eyes at the beautifully decorated mandap, to the jai maala ceremony and the saat pheras with a heavenly backdrop of the sea, I couldn’t control my emotions and smile broadly for the shutterbugs.
Can’t Thank KALKI Enough
