Deepanshu and met in the year 2012 through his sister and a few more common friends. As time flew by, we became so close to each other that we always became each other’s go-to person. Not only was my bond with Deepanshu growing stronger but I also became a part of his family who always made me feel special and loved. Deepanshu’s grandmother even confessed that since we were in school, she always wished that I should be her daughter-in-law. Infact there were times when things weren’t all hunky dory with Deepanshu but the relationship I shared with his family was always great.
Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin
One magical thing about our relationship was that even if we did stray on different paths occasionally, destiny always ensured that we found our way back to each other. And that’s how after being in a relationship for 12 years we finally tied the knot on February 12, 2024, amidst our dear and near ones in the most surreal wedding ceremony. I’m so grateful to be blessed with the best and couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Lehenga In Sync With The Wedding Theme
The aspiration behind my wedding lehenga was the theme of the wedding itself – The Royal Wedding. I wished to adore timeless traditional Indian bridal wear in auspicious colour red, but destiny had something very offbeat in store for me. After going through KALKI’s stupendous collection of elegant wedding dresses my sister-in-law asked me to try one particular stunning bridal outfit. At first, I was reluctant to try it because the idea of embracing a red bridal dress was so stuck in my head that I couldn’t think of anything beyond it. But as soon as I tried the great masterpiece at KALKI, I knew instantly that this was it.
The Dream Wedding Lehenga Becomes Super Se Bhi Upar
The dazzling wedding lehenga with classy hues was oozing with regality and made me feel like a royal bride, exactly how I wished to look on my special day. Although the bridal lehenga I adorned was different from the one I always dreamed of wearing, I have no regrets, infact I am grateful and consider myself blessed to be wearing a much more gorgeous lehenga than my dream lehenga, all thanks to KALKI.
The Colour Coordinated Wedding Outfits
Deepanshu and I were thrilled to find colour-coordinated wedding outfits that were a symbol of our true love for each other. I wore a brown raw silk bridal lehenga set with hand embroidery which exuded the Maharani vibe. The intricate embroidery with shimmering cutdana, sequins, and beads gave the ensemble a very mesmerising look. The green velvet embroidered blouse was the highlight of the bridal dress. The matching net dupatta with an embroidered border completed the look. I opted for an eye-catching choker set with mind-blowing jhumkis, a maang tikka, a matha patti, a nose ring, hathphool, bangles, and the customary kaleeras. The soft makeup gave me a surreal look and made me feel on top of the world. My beau’s matching sherwani along with off-white pants, a dupatta, and a turban made him look very handsome. We felt very confident in our attires and happily posed hand in hand for the photographers. It was an awesome experience to be a KALKI bride and a KALKI groom.
KALKI – You Charmer
My experience with KALKI couldn’t have been any better. I thank my stars for choosing KALKI for my wedding dress. Everyone, including myself, was in love with my Indian traditional bridal dress. From the person who designed this majestic shaadi lehenga to the courteous staff at the South Extension store who helped me find and finalize it, every member of the KALKI family left me short of words to express my heartfelt thanks. The dress was very exclusive with the quality, colours and fit being top-notch. One incident that left me flattered was when I informed the staff at KAKLI that our wedding had been preponed for some reason, they comforted me and told me that they would go to any extent to provide me with the same quality of Indian bridal lehenga that was promised to me.
Dulha Raja Too Smitten By The KALKI Charm
